Good Joinery Is All in the Detail.

Lakeside Joinery is a local joinery and carpentry business based in Carlisle, working in homes across the city and surrounding areas.

The work is varied — refitting a kitchen one week, laying a herringbone floor or making shutters for a period window the next. What ties it together is the way it's done: measured carefully, made to fit, and finished so it looks right for years, not just on the day it's handed over.

A lot of good joinery goes unnoticed, and that's often the point. A shutter that closes cleanly. A floor that meets the skirting without a gap. A boiler cupboard built neatly around the pipework so you never think about it again. Those details take time, and they're worth it.

If something can be kept and improved rather than ripped out, we'll say so. If it needs a bespoke solution, we'll make one. Every project — large or small — gets the same attention.
